SynPrism is committed to making GetHaully usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. This statement explains our current accessibility posture, what we're working toward, and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.
Our Commitment
Native iOS accessibility
The GetHaully iOS app is built on UIKit and SwiftUI components with VoiceOver support in mind. Controls are labeled, and we aim for full keyboard and switch-access navigability.
Web pages
These web pages use semantic HTML, logical heading structure, sufficient color contrast, and ARIA landmarks so screen readers and keyboard-only users can navigate effectively.
Readable text
Text is sized in relative units so it scales with your device's font-size preferences. We avoid conveying information through color alone.
Keyboard navigation
All interactive elements on our web pages are reachable and operable by keyboard. Focus states are visible so you always know where you are on the page.
Standards We Target
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA for our web properties. For the iOS app, we follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for Accessibility. We are not yet independently audited, but accessibility is part of our ongoing development process — not an afterthought.
Known Limitations
We're a small team and some areas are still being improved:
- Dynamic content on the Roadmap page (release notes, feature requests) is loaded via JavaScript. Screen reader users will receive content once it loads, but we are working on announcing load state changes more explicitly.
- The admin panel is an internal tool that has not yet been fully audited for accessibility.
- Some complex in-app screens (photo review, inventory edit) may not yet have fully optimized VoiceOver experiences. We're actively addressing these.
Third-Party Content
GetHaully integrates with Google Sign-In and Google Drive. Accessibility of those third-party flows is governed by Google and is outside our direct control, though we work to ensure the handoff points between our app and their interfaces are as smooth as possible.
Text Size and Display
The GetHaully app respects iOS Dynamic Type settings. If text appears too small, you can increase font sizes in Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size or via Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size on your iPhone.
How to Report an Issue
If you experience any barrier using GetHaully — the app or these web pages — we want to hear about it. Please email us with a description of what you encountered and what you were trying to do, and we'll prioritize a fix.
